This Thermostatic Tap provides a unique and patented solution to safe hand hygiene in washrooms. It features Inta’s proven anti scald thermostatic technology, at the same time as operating as a water economy device by shutting the flow of water off after a set period of time.
With manual operation this non concussive wall mounted tap functions for a period of time and then closes automatically. This operation makes the tap ideal for use in unsupervised areas such as sports changing rooms and washrooms. It is also perfect for use as a water economy device.
The Intamix Delta range of thermostatic mixing valves have been designed and engineered for heat networks where the maximum distribution temperature is 50°C. In these installations standard TMVs that are approved to BS EN 1111: 2017 or BS EN 1287:2017 may not failsafe when used for bath, shower or wash-hand basin applications. These valves will operate with just 5°C ΔT between the mixed outlet and the hot inlet.
